Apprentice Paperhanger of the Year 2019

If you think that your paper hanging skills are up there with the best, then this is your chance to shine. Enter the PDA 2019 Apprentice Paperhanger competition and show off all your best paper hanging skills.

It’s free to enter for all UK registered apprentices, great prizes are on offer from our sponsors Brewers Decorator Centres and an invitation to The national networking event incorporating the Apprentice Awards. Your accommodation the night prior to the competition, food and travel expenses will be paid by the PDA, so get your entry form completed today and put yourself in with a chance to be crowned PDA 2019 Apprentice Paperhanger champion.

The seven-hour contest is split into two different categories – a new entrant and senior level.

Senior level competitors are tasked with wallpapering a mock living room, with extra challenges including a fire surround, internal angles and borders as well as inlay panels, whilst the junior competitors have to wallpaper a three-sided booth.

The winners of each competition and the two runners up are announced at the PDA Conference Gala Dinner, where they receive a trophy, framed certificate and cash prize.
