Approved Training Organisation (ATO) Bulletin

Hello, and welcome to this week's edition of the ATO bulletin.

We want to thank those of you who took the time to take our ATO survey in our previous bulletin. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and helps us to understand how we can help you. As a result of your feedback, we've added new updates to this week's bulletin including: new functionalities, CITB Training Provider events, funding opportunities and an introduction to our team.

We would like to continue hearing from you, so please take a few minutes to complete our survey by clicking here.

New function: Bulk upload of schedules

In response to feedback from ATOs, we've added a new functionality to the Construction Training Directory (CTD) which allows you to:

Schedule multiple courses at multiple venues at once; create, amend or cancel training schedules in bulk and, reduce the amount of time it takes to upload training schedules.

This function will go live on Wednesday 14 August 2019. Click here for a step-by-step guide on how to use this new functionality.

Save the date: CITB Training Provider events

CITB will be hosting Training Provider events across the three Nations from 3 October to 27 November 2019.

This is an opportunity for you to: Make connections that will benefit your business, and understand more about Training Standards and the ATO systems.

We'll be sending a full agenda, and registration details out in a few weeks time. In the meantime, have a look at the events in your area by clicking here and save the date in your diary.

Meet the team

We'd like to introduce you to Jack Hayes, Senior Product Specialist. Jack has worked with CITB for five and a half years. You might be seeing more of Jack and his team in the future. So here's a little bit about what he does, and what makes him tick.

What do you do? It's my job to be out and about on the road, and talk to the employers and Training Providers who are having issues with using the systems and help them fix slightly more unusual problems. We gather feedback about the Training Model, and feed it back to the teams developing the systems.

What do you like about your job? I like the fact that I get to be out on ground; meeting the people involved, and making a difference by solving their problems.

What do you do in your spare time? I like to play computer games, and I print 3D terrain for miniature wargames!

Finally, tell us about something that makes you smile? Honest Burger...
