Bagnalls painters, and  volunteers from the local community and Riverside Housing Staff, all donned their overalls to refresh to transform  Burnside Community Centre in just one week.

Kenny Halsall, long standing Foreman at Bagnalls, and previous winner of Dulux Trade Most Trusted Contractor Painter, supervised all aspects of the internal and external works.

Thankfully the weather was kind and allowed us to fit in the external decorations as well as the planned internals, during this busy week. Everyone involved had a fantastic time seeing the transformation take place and special thanks go to Kenny and Brian for training people in paint application, Dulux Trade for the kind donation of paints and Riverside Housing for allowing Bagnalls to demonstrate our commitment to Social Value.

The Centre which re-opened the at the end of the week was a buzz of activity with many of the groups who run events during the week coming together to promote their activities. With all the fun of a raffle, buffet and a special visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, we could not have had better day. We thank Riverside for giving us the opportunity to deliver our social value promise to the community and Dulux Trade

Partnership for working with us. Rob Pace of Dulux Trade said “ Dulux Contract Partnership at it’s best, displaying the great social value benefit of Bagnalls and Dulux”
