Description

For the construction industry to modernise through the adoption of digital will require both innovation, new skills and greater collaboration. This event will focus on practicalities and funding and collaboration opportunities associated with developing skills and innovation to enable the construction industry to adopt digital practices to make their work more efficient and productive. CITB, the West Midlands Combined Authority and Innovate UK will all talk about funding opportunities, and construction industry representatives will talk about their experiences of opportunities from and barriers to digital adoption. A workshop session will enable participants to explore and share ideas for joint action/ projects.

Speakers include CITB, Knowledge Transfer Network and the West Midlands Combined Authority, and there will also be a panel of leading practitioners from the industry that have been using digital technologies to enhance their businesses already. There will also be parallel workshops at which will be an opportunity to identify potential projects to take forward after the event. You can register via the link below and if possible, please feel free to circulate the invite to any contacts who may be interested in attending.
