Don't forget to book your place:
Data protection - what's keeping you awake at night?

Wednesday 4th December 2019

We are delighted to invite you to the third in a series of four seminars covering key areas for businesses. This seminar puts you in the driving seat by giving you the opportunity to dig out those questions about GDPR that you have put in the ‘too difficult’ box. Not only will our panel answer your questions, you will also hear what data protection matters are keeping other business managers awake at night, giving you the chance to share experiences and put any concerns into context – and all over a bite to eat.

Just to get your creative juices flowing, we thought we’d share some of the concerns voiced by businesses:

·         We do business in Europe – is there any clarity yet over what Brexit means for personal data transfers and the storage of data in the EU?

·         We have had a number of people asking us what data we hold on them. How should we respond?

·         Do we need a formal contract with third party processors and/or controllers?

·         Can we share data with other organisations and, if so, what’s the best way of doing so?

·         What disclaimers and policy statements regarding data collection for marketing purposes do we need to add to our website and market collateral?

You can either send us your questions in advance to events@wrighthassall.co.uk or bring them on the day.
