Back in June, PDA Chief Executive Neil Ogilvie paid a visit to eco-friendly paint and wallpaper manufacturer Farrow & Ball to learn more about how the brand is preparing for its future. The PDA associated partner has been based in Dorset since 1946, when it was founded by John Farrow and Richard Ball, and has prided itself on combining time-honoured artisanal methods with cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices ever since.

On a guided tour of the Farrow & Ball factory, Neil was given a valuable insight into the handcrafted nature of Farrow & Ball paint and wallpaper, and the dedicated expert craftsmen who bring every tin and roll into being before it’s sent to stockists across the world. Meeting with the brand’s marketing team, who share the site with the factory and Farrow & Ball Wimborne showroom, Neil led discussions on how the PDA and Farrow & Ball can keep working together closely in the coming years.

“I found my recent visit to Farrow & Ball incredibly interesting,” says Neil. “The team gave me a great insight into the company’s forward planning for its products, both its current offerings and what’s in the pipeline in the future. It’s a pleasure for the PDA to be associated with such a forward-thinking company.”
