A new scheme to help develop our industry
The PDA is here for its members - whether that’s providing them with technical guidance, putting on events, or arranging special offers, discounts and rewards from suppliers. However, one of our most important roles is that of being the members’ voice when it comes to national and international matters.
Recently, our CEO, Neil Ogilvie, has been involved with the development of a new work-based learning platform as part of a working collaboration with UNIEP (International Association of Painting Contractors), for which he had to travel to Dresden, Germany.
The PDA has been actively involved in the development of this learning platform and believes that it will help those who are interested in joining our profession. The official launch of the learning platform will be on Friday 13th September 2019 in Vienna.
The PDA is committed to helping its members improve their skills whilst developing training for those who are joining the industry. With new materials and techniques being developed, it is vital for members and their trainees/apprentices to stay on top of these innovations, so that they can provide their customers with the very best our industry has to offer.
To find out more about the new work-based learning platform, or if you have any questions regarding training opportunities and apprenticeships, please call us on 024 7635 3776, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
