Crown Paints has contributed more than 1,000 litres of paint to community groups across the country through its charitable partnership with Wickes.
The donations have been facilitated through the Wickes Community Programme. The programme launched in 2022 with the aim of supporting local charities and community organisations to update their spaces.
Crown became the official paint partner for the programme in December 2023 and since then a total of 1,049 litres of repurposed paint that may otherwise be disposed of has been given a new lease of life through donations to local charities.
The first project undertaken by the decorating giants was the transformation of the New Hope Homeless Shelter in Watford last year. The partnership has also provided paint to hospitals, schools, and churches among many more.
This includes Attenborough Cricket Club in Long Eaton which was supplied with 90 litres of paint earlier this year. Volunteers from the Nottingham Crown Decorating Centre fully repainted the space which now enhances the community sports experience for hundreds of residents in the area.

By providing repurposed and recycled product to local charities through the partnership, Crown aims to transform and maintain spaces for good causes, as well as reducing waste.
