Leading paint brand Crown Paints will be bringing home the benefits of supply chain collaboration at the forthcoming Procurement for Housing (PfH) Live conference by showcasing its new digital ordering portal for registered social landlords.
The key industry event, which takes place from 7th-9th September as part of the annual Chartered Institute of Housing event in Manchester, will see Crown take up position on Stand P53.
From here registered social landlords and specifiers will be able to learn about Crownâs new digital home decorating pack ordering portal, which is designed to save time and improve efficiencies.
Crownâs Home Decorating Scheme is available for delivery via the nationwide network of Crown Decorating Centres. There is a choice of Home Decorating Packs available, and each is tailored to provide flexible, cost-effective schemes for various property types.
At the event, Crown will also be showcasing its range of interior and exterior paints and specialist coatings. In addition, visitors to the stand can learn about specification support packages, which includes guidance on appropriate colour schemes and help with product specification to improve standards and reduce maintenance cycles
There will also be an opportunity to gain information on multiple products that are ideally suited to meeting the requirements of the housing sector including Crown Tradeâs Timonox, a flame retardant paint system that inhibits the spread of fire and can help housing providers comply to the relevant fire and safety standards. Other innovative products on display will be Crown Tradeâs Clean Extreme range of highly durable and scrubbable paints which have been developed to tackle to the common maintenance problems of stains, mould and bacteria.
Sustainability will also be a key focus on Crownâs stand, with the paint manufacturer offering visitors the chance to find out more about the environmental credentials of both the companyâs product range and manufacturing processes. Information will also be available about Crownâs Can Back initiative and its commitment to reducing plastic waste, after the company became the first paint manufacturer in the UK to launch paint containers made from 100 per cent recycled post-consumer waste (PCW) plastic.
