BCF's Charity Cycle: Ride Warwickshire 2022

10 March 2022

Bookings are now open for BCF’s second charity Bike Ride taking place on Friday 1st July 2022 to raise money for the Community Heartbeat Trust. The British Coatings Federation is in partnership with the Community Heartbeat Trust and BT to promote the installation of defibrillators in BT phone boxes across the UK through our Minutes Matter campaign.

The route will start at the BCF office, Spectra House in Coventry, and take in the scenic countryside and villages through Warwickshire. There will be three distances available – 100km, 50km & 30km. The 100km & 50km rides will require grit and endurance to get to the finish line, whilst the 30km is a nice gentle ride that will challenge the novice. We’re hopeful that with this choice of level, you and a team of colleagues will be able to participate.

The entry fee is £50+VAT which includes your cycle jersey and goodie bag. To be guaranteed the jersey size of your choice, you need to enter by 15th April 2022. Any surplus funds raised will be donated to our chosen charity. 2019’s event raised £12,000 and we hope this year’s event will be just as successful.

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for the Community Heartbeat Trust. Further information about how you will be able to raise money as a rider in the event will be sent out once you have registered. This will include details on the routes and overnight accommodation details for those of you that would like to arrive the evening before the event, secure bike storage will be available at the BCF office.

If you want to take part in the event but are not keen to ride, we have volunteer opportunities available, please contact Belle for more information.

If you want to find out more about the ride at this stage then please get in touch with Belle. Please contact Jo for sponsorship opportunities.

We hope to see you in Coventry in July!
