Leyland SDM opens 33rd London store

15 February 2023

Leyland SDM has opened a new store in Hammersmith – its 33rd in London – offering increased convenience for professional painters and decorators.

England football legend Stuart Pearce cut the ribbon on the Hammersmith store at 137-139 King Street, where there are giveaways and prizes available all month.

As part of the celebrations, one lucky customer will win a cost-of-living busting £1,000 credit to spend in store. Anyone who makes a purchase in Hammersmith between now and March 7 is eligible to enter*.

The addition of the Hammersmith store is part of Leyland SDM’s rapid expansion which has seen eight new outlets opened in the last two years – and more planned during 2023.

It’s a strategy designed to offer tradespeople maximum convenience when working anywhere in London, ensuring they can spend as much time as possible on the job rather than stocking up.

Paint in every finish is available in the trade’s favourite brands, including Dulux Trade, Leyland Trade, and Johnstone’s Paint.

And if the desired colour doesn’t exist, colleagues will be happy to create it using Leyland SDM’s in-store paint mixing service.

There is also a huge range of timber in many stores as well as plumbing supplies, electricals, power tools and ironmongery.

Most stores open at 6.30am to allow tradespeople to buy their materials for the day ahead – and are open until 7pm so customers can stock up for the next day. Stores are also open on weekends and many benefit from parking spaces and loading bays.
