Skin Cancer Awareness Month

Think you only need sunscreen on holiday? Think again.

When working outdoors, your skin is exposed to UV rays every single day – even when it’s cloudy. And while you might not feel it, the damage is still happening.

Construction workers can get up to 10x more UV exposure than indoor workers – making sun safety a serious issue on site.

The good news is – skin cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. A few simple habits can protect you long term:

✅ Cover up with long sleeves and neck capes
✅ Use SPF 30+ sunscreen and reapply throughout the day
✅ Wear sunglasses that block UV
✅ Take breaks in the shade
✅ Know your skin – and what changes to look out for
