The Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) has joined forces with Associate Partner Markel to deliver a detailed webinar on data protection and cyber security for its members.
Part of the PDA’s Power Up Your Business package, the webinar is one of a series focusing on key topics that will help PDA members ensure their businesses are compliant.
The webinar, which is at 6pm on Tuesday 23rd September, will cover themes around the type of data held and the law relating to it, individual rights in relation to data held on them and the importance of cyber security.
Paul Bateman is Director of Account Management, Partnerships at Markel and played a key role in facilitating the webinar for PDA members.
He said: “Every business, no matter its size, needs to protect sensitive data. Our support gives PDA members the tools and confidence to manage data protection and cybersecurity effectively, helping them protect clients and future-proof their business.”
For PDA members who were unable to attend the webinar, Markel will provide an overview of the session at a later date to ensure all members have the chance to learn about data protection.
The Markel Webinar: Data protection and cyber security, is part of the PDA’s Power Up Your Business package, which launched with a webinar on Employment Law earlier this year and will include further online sessions on Marketing and Procurement.
