The first ever digital forum for members of the Painting and Decorating Association’s (PDA), Paint Green initiative will feature a presentation by CEO of Resource Futures, Sam Reeve.
An expert in sustainability, circular economy, resource efficiency and waste and resource policy, Sam has a strongly held belief that successful businesses of any size can have a positive impact socially and environmentally.
Sam will be the guest speaker at the inaugural Paint Green Digital Forum on Monday 8th December which will also include a Q&A session.
He said: “At Resource Futures, we’ve championed waste reduction in the paint industry for over 30 years.
“From managing Community RePaint – the UK’s leading paint reuse programme – to helping manufacturers like Brewers Decorator Centres implement materials audits and circularity strategies, we’re committed to driving change.
“I’m excited to share our experience with PDA members and explore ideas for increased waste reduction across the paint and decorating sector.”
The forum is exclusively available to members of the Paint Green initiative and will include a discussion on the direction of future travel for the scheme.

“The forum is an opportunity for Paint Green members to hear from an expert in sustainability, share ideas and discuss what the future of Paint Green should look like.
“Currently, Paint Green focuses on driving down waste by encouraging the reuse, reduction or recycling of excess paint and paint containers, but we know many Paint Green members are already going way above and beyond that.
“The forum is a chance for members to drive the scheme forward and look at ways to further encourage painters and decorators who are still taking first steps on their sustainability journey.”
