Open Doors 2026, delivered by Build UK, takes place from Monday 23 March until Saturday 28 March. Thousands of visitors will attend events across the UK during the week long event.
There will be 240 sites and workplaces opening their doors to showcase the range of opportunities available in construction, including the reservicing of Buckingham Palace, Birmingham Airport, the Tate Liverpool, the Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil and Dundonald International Ice Bowl.
With a report from Build UK member CIOB revealing that two thirds of young people have a positive view of careers in construction, Open Doors is a unique opportunity to show what our industry has to offer. 88% of visitors in 2025 confirmed they were more likely to consider a construction career after their visit.
