On Friday 27 November 2026, Bolton Stadium Hotel hosts the inaugural Trade Decorator Awards a red-carpet, Hollywood-themed Christmas party for the decorating trade, built to sit alongside the industry’s existing awards and associations.
How to Nominate
Entries are open now across three categories:
- People & Teams — individual decorators and standout teams
- Project Excellence — the jobs you’re proud to put your name to
- Manufacturer & Supplier — decided purely by community vote
Nominating yourself carries the same weight as nominating someone else, so don’t be modest. And this is a genuine invitation to members of the Painting & Decorating Association too: whatever you’ve already entered elsewhere, get involved here, we want these awards to reflect the very best the industry has to offer, and that only happens with the whole trade taking part. Nominate yourself, your team, and the brands you rely on day in, day out. The Manufacturer & Supplier category is community-judged, so every vote counts.

Why Christmas
Most solo decorators don’t get a Christmas party. There’s no office to shut down, no colleagues to raise a glass with. This event exists to close that gap: one night a year where the trade gets together and nobody has to spend Christmas alone. It’s also why Band of Builders, our official charity partner, is such a natural fit. A trade that runs on people quietly getting on with it, needs a community that looks after its own.
